Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the operations of the café.
• Attending to the food and beverage needs of our residents guests and employees.
• Promptly obtaining & preparing orders.
• Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control in food preparation and serving.
• Follow menus provided making changes only with the consent of the supervisor.
• Makes prepares and serves sandwiches and salads according to café recipes.
• Makes prepares and serves baked goods hot cereals breakfast items and grilled items.
• Follows daily and weekly duties.
• Prepare and serve at the proper time sufficient quantity of food to meet the service requirement.
• Maintain proper sanitation and safety in food preparation areas.
• Responsible for keeping café area clean neat and orderly.
• Responsible for operation and maintenance of the cash register and handling of café income.
• Maintains professionalism when not assisting customers; avoids eating sitting reading watching TV or any other activities that are not work-related
• Participate in cleaning of cooking area and other kitchen equipment and facilities.
