The Opportunity:
The School of Biological Sciences is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate as an Institute Administrator. As an experienced and well-organised team player the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of academic administrative support. The post holder will contribute to enhancing the staff experience as a highly organised and customer focused administrator.
This is a fixed-term post.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Previous experience of delivering a range of administration services within HE administration.
- Excellent customer service skills with proven experience of delivering a professional high quality customer focused service.
- The ability to organise time effectively to manage your own workload and priorities to achieve deadlines.
- Competent oral and written communication skills (to produce reports correspondence minutes agendas documentation) with experience in the use of IT software e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with experience of handling confidential information.
