Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Day Shift
- 5x8 Hours
- 36 Hours Guaranteed (up to 40 hours expected)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient orthopedic setting in Salem Oregon. This role is open to both experienced clinicians and new graduates including first-time travelers looking to build experience in outpatient rehabilitation.
The PTA will support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care and improving patient mobility and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions
- Support outpatient orthopedic patient recovery programs
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes
- Educate patients on exercises mobility and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy team
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates accepted
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required
- Ability to work independently in a clinical outpatient environment
