Class A CDL Operator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Class A CDL Driver to join our Block team at SRM Concrete. This pivotal role involves the safe and efficient transportation of blocks to customers and other locations as well as working as the yard person during times you are not make deliverys. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record exceptional driving skills and a Go Getter mentality. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Class A CDL Driver to take on a vital role in our logistics chain ensuring the timely and safe delivery of blocks to our customers as well as loading and working around the block plant. If you meet the requirements and are committed to excellence and safety we encourage you to apply and join our Responsibilities:Safely operate a Class A truck transporting blocks from the plant to customers and various concrete plant thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with all complete and maintain logbooks delivery documentation and other required paperwork in compliance with company policies and DOT communication with dispatch to receive delivery instructions and provide updates on route the secure loading and unloading of cement preventing spillage or to established routes schedules and safety procedures for transporting hazardous exceptional customer service at delivery sites acting as a professional representative of the to drive a loader to load blocks onto :Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)Current DOT Medical CardA minimum of 2 years of proven experience in driving Class A driving record with no serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for transporting ability to lift up to 100 pounds and manage tasks that involve bending lifting and time management skills to adhere to predetermined communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with plant personnel and to undergo SRMs pre-employment us:SRM strives to be the largest most profitable construction material company in the country while maintaining a best-in-class 5 Principles of Service:Safety Quality Kindness Cleanliness Go-GetterWhy Join UsAs part of our team youll me more than a CDL holder; youll be a valued concrete expert.
