Compensation: $160000$220000 full benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale infrastructure projects throughout New York City. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in heavy civil construction including foundations structural systems and complex site operations.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-profile public works projectsensuring safety quality schedule and cost objectives are met while leading field teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

What Youll Do

• Oversee daily field operations for large-scale civil construction projects
• Lead and coordinate crews subcontractors and field staff to meet project milestones
• Ensure work is executed safely efficiently and in compliance with project specifications
• Interpret construction drawings structural details and geotechnical reports
• Plan and manage sequencing of critical work activities
• Monitor productivity quality and schedule performance
• Coordinate with project management engineers and client representatives
• Manage inspections permits and compliance with city state and federal requirements
• Identify and resolve field issues minimizing delays and cost impacts
• Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation

What Were Looking For

• 10 years of experience as a Superintendent on heavy civil or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience delivering projects valued at $200M
• Strong experience with large general contractors
• Expertise in Support of Excavation (SOE) systems including:
  • Secant piles
  • Caissons
  • Soldier pile & lagging
  • Structural bracing systems (walers struts rakers)
• Experience with foundations concrete and structural steel construction
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Experience working with public sector clients (city state or federal) preferred
• Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with tools such as Procore Bluebeam HCSS and Microsoft Office
• OSHA 30 certification (required); First Aid certification preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
