JOB SUMMARY:

The Strategic Finance Business Partneris a highly visible role that serves asthe primaryfinancial partner to theProduct and Engineering role requires frequent collaboration with senior management broad decision support across R&D andleveragingfinancial data to influencehow we invest build and grow.

You will beakey business partner in theannualintegrated planning process includingtranslation ofproduct roadmapstrategy into operational plans andprioritization ofexisting and potential R&D also be a key participant in evaluating the financial viability and modeling ofstrategicinitiatives including new products product partnerships and M&A.

This role is for someone who sees finance as a creativeandstrategic craft not just a control &A practice that goes beyond traditionalbudgetingto deliver forward-looking insights that drive business performanceand growth decisions deeply understanding whatlevers we pull in what order and with what expected return.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Financial Planning Analysis and Reporting

• Act as the primary Finance Business Partner to the Product and Engineering organizationsdirectly supportingannual planningquarterly forecastsanddecision support
• Drive theR&Dandcloudhosting(COGS)annualbudget processpartneringcross-functionallyto integrate bottom-up departmental inputs into an integrated financial plan
• Conduct monthly analysis of cost variances and expenditure trends to uncover root causes translating findings into recommendations thatoptimizebusiness performancemoving beyond here is what happened last quarter to here is the outlook why and what we should do about it
• Proactivelymanagethe achievement of business unit resultsincluding identification andmitigationof risks anddrivingopportunities
• Build and systematizedisaggregated P&L reporting at the product levelsurfacingvisibility into unit economics gross margin and investment efficiency
• Own the financialframeworkforProduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) translating product-level performance into roadmap and resource planning decisions
• Implementmodern planning systemdashboards(Pigment)tosurfaceforward-lookinginsightsacross the Product and Engineeringorganizations
• Bring a builders mindset toapplyingAI in financeidentifyingtools andworkflows thatimprove decision velocitystreamline the forecast process andredirecttimetowarddeeper business partnership

Integrated Business Planning

• Build a deep understanding of our marketscustomers and product roadmap;partner cross-functionally with leadershiptoidentifyopportunities to expand D2Ls participation inthevalue chain
• Serve as the lead finance partnerintheannualR&D integrated planning process includingevaluationof internal operating performanceproductunit economicsand P&L results
• Partnerwithcross-functional leadersinthesemi-annual product roadmap cycleapplyingafinanciallenswhich includesinvestment sizing expected ROI and targeted business outcomes

Strategic Initiatives

• Leadthefinancial modelling and analysis for product-centric M&A opportunities in partnership with the Corporate Development team including evaluation due diligence and integration
• Collaborate with keyinternalstakeholdersonthePartnersteam including support to informthe commercial termsfor new strategic partnerships
• Ownthefinancialanalysis ofnew productlinesandpricing/packaging initiativestranslatingcustomerneedsinto commerciallysoundrecommendations

WHAT YOULL BRING TO THE ROLE:

Experience:

• 7 yearsof well-rounded financeexperience including FP&A or finance/operationsroles
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills superior attention to detail and quick learner
• Forward-thinking mindset curiosity and the ability to simplify complexity into easily understood financial models and narratives
• Experience within a SaaS business model and global company is considered a strong asset
• Superior communication including in verbal presentations and written business memos
• Strong relationship collaboration and influence capabilities including at the senior leadership stakeholder level
• Process-oriented withexperiencebuilding scalable processes andleveragingautomation
• Strongsystems aptitude and technicalproficiencyin advanced planning systems (Pigment Adaptive);experience with AI/ML applications considered a strong plus

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Business preferably with emphasis in Finance / Accounting / Economics
• CPA CFA or CBVdesignationconsidered anasset
