Golf Mechanic
Job Summary
Reporting to the Head Mechanic the Golf Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance repair and adjustment of motorized equipment used for course maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work on mowing and course maintenance equipment utility vehicles and tractors (Toro John Deere Kubota Jacobsen and other brands).
- Perform maintenance and repairs on two-stroke four-stroke gasoline engines and diesel engines.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain cutting quality to the highest standards in the golf industry.
- Diagnose breakdowns and perform mechanical electrical and hydraulic repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
- Respond to urgent requests on the course.
Qualifications :
- DEP in Mechanics.
- 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems (asset).
- Welding experience (asset).
- Experience in adjusting and sharpening reel mowers/cutting units (asset).
- Suitable for any type of mechanic looking to apply their skills to the golf industry.
