New Graduate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital Setting - Bulk Hiring
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and motivated New Graduate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our hospital team in the Albuquerque NM area. This opportunity is ideal for recent LPN graduates looking to begin their nursing career in an acute care hospital environment while working alongside experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
The New Graduate LPN will provide direct patient care support patient recovery and develop clinical skills through orientation mentorship and hands-on training in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
Monitor and document patient vital signs symptoms and responses to treatment.
Assist with medication administration and basic nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
Support patient admissions transfers and discharges.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Follow hospital policies infection control standards and patient safety guidelines.
Participate in orientation programs clinical training and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
Active New Mexico LPN license or compact state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication teamwork and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical rotations or externship experience in hospital or acute care settings.
Familiarity with EMR systems.
Desire to grow within acute care nursing.
