GCyber is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for executing a wide range of administrative business functions including office management bookkeeping employee relations contract administration and internal compliance coordination.
The ideal candidate is organized proactive comfortable managing multiple priorities and able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Primary Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities including accounts payable accounts receivable reconciliations journal entries and expense processing
- Track and manageemployee authorizations contract setup funding actions and contract modifications
- Process payroll and administer employee benefits using Rippling HRIS
- Coordinate employee onboarding transfers transitions and offboarding activities including personnel records I-9s E-Verify and HR compliance reporting
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to payroll benefits HR policies and administrative processes
- Support employee engagement initiatives including company events recognition programs surveys and corporate awards activities
- Support internal compliance activities and annual assessments to maintain corporate certifications (e.g. ISO CMMI)
- Coordinate office operations facility-related activities including office supply inventory employee swag and event logistics
Work LocationMinimum Requirements and Experience - 3 years of experience in accounting / bookkeeping andoffice administration or similar business operations role
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to performaccount reconciliations journal entries and routine bookkeeping activities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive employee financial and company information with discretion and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and follow established processes and procedures
Additional Preferred Experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
- Prior experience at a small business government contractor
- Prior FSO/AFSO experience
- Experience with compliance frameworks including ISO 9001 orCMMI
