Overview
The Solutions Architect is the enterprise design authority for Technical Operations platforms and integrations. This role translates business and operational needs into secure scalable and wellintegrated solutions while maintaining architectural ownership through delivery testing and production support. By providing centralized architectural accountability including integration testing and defect resolution this role ensures technology solutions are stable cohesive and sustainable as the Technical Operations environment grows in complexity.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Serve as the solution architect of record for Technical Operations platforms systems and integrations.
- Design and document end-to-end solution architectures integrating internal systems vendor platforms and enterprise services.
- Establish and govern architecture standards integration patterns and technical principles to reduce redundancy and fragmentation.
- Ensure architectures align with enterprise security identity management compliance and audit requirements.
Integration & Platform Enablement
- Design and oversee cross-system integrations APIs and data flows across the Technical Operations ecosystem.
- Evaluate technology options and vendor solutions for architectural fit scalability and long-term sustainability.
- Guide product and delivery teams away from isolated solutions toward reusable and enterprise-aligned designs.
Testing Validation & Defect Resolution
- Maintain architectural ownership through system and integration testing cycles ensuring solutions perform as designed.
- Define and support integration testing strategies including validation criteria and cross-system test scenarios.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for defects spanning applications integrations and data flows.
- Perform or guide root-cause analysis to distinguish design configuration integration or platform-related defects.
- Partner with IT teams vendors and product owners to drive defect resolution retesting and release readiness.
Production Readiness & Operational Stability
- Ensure solutions are designed for operational stability resilience and supportability.
- Support go-live planning production readiness assessments and post-deployment stabilization.
- Monitor recurring architectural or integration issues and drive systemic improvements to reduce future defects and rework.
Architecture Governance & Collaboration
- Act as the technical bridge between Technical Operations enterprise IT and external solution providers.
- Participate in governance reviews presenting architectural options tradeoffs and risk assessments.
- Contribute to technology roadmaps modernization initiatives and future capability planning.
- Mentor delivery teams on architectural standards and integration best practices without formal people management responsibilities.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
- 4 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing software
- 4 years of experience in a systems design or application development environment.
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale systems with multiple integrations.
- Strong understanding of:
- Enterprise and solution architecture concepts
- API and service-based integration patterns
- Data flows and interoperability across platforms
- Security identity and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting testing cycles production issues and defect resolution in complex system environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated operational or safety-critical environments.
- Familiarity with vendor-managed platforms and third-party system integrations.
- Exposure to electronic records auditability or compliance-driven systems.
- Experience supporting platforms used by frontline field or operational teams.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Repetitive motion such as: typing.
- Minimal physical exertion such as: pulling pushing reaching bending standing walking and light lifting of boxes bags files and electronic equipment not in excess of 30 lbs.
- Computer work in a typical office environment sitting for the majority of the day.
- Able to work additional hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- Some travel may be required.
