Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect
Location: Brussels Belgium (Hybrid minimum 3 days on-site per week)
Contract Duration: Long-term consultancy assignment (up to 2 years renewable)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Consultant / Data Solution Architect to support the implementation and evolution of an enterprise-wide data strategy within a large-scale utility environment. The role focuses on data governance data architecture reporting strategy and the promotion of a strong data-driven culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance enterprise data governance initiatives
- Coordinate and manage data-related transformation and governance projects
- Define and improve reporting and analytics strategies across departments
- Design and evolve enterprise data architecture and data lineage processes
- Drive data usage initiatives including reporting automation analytics and AI solutions
- Coordinate reporting automation projects with IT teams
- Define prioritization mechanisms for reporting and data development initiatives
- Promote data culture governance standards and cross-department collaboration
- Ensure compliance with GDPR ISO27001 and NIS2 requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in data governance and data management
- Expertise in data modeling data architecture and reporting solutions
- Experience with ETL SQL data storage and data integration processes
- Strong knowledge of Power BI and reporting frameworks
- Experience with IT transformation and enterprise data initiatives
- Understanding of BPMN change management and process optimization
- Knowledge of SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
- Familiarity with ITIL and test management practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
