CDL A DRIVER OTR (OVER-THE-ROAD)
Overview
We are seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for over-the-road (OTR) trucking positions across the United States. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay consistent freight and the flexibility of life on the road. About the Role
As a CDL A Driver youll operate a commercial truck hauling freight across interstate highways. Youll be responsible for vehicle maintenance safety compliance delivery schedules and maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and dispatch. This is a full-time solo driving position with regular home time and predictable freight lanes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across state lines
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Meet delivery schedules while ensuring cargo security
Communicate regularly with dispatch and customers
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Maintain a clean driving record and professional attitude
Requirements
Licensure & Certifications (Required):
Valid CDL A license (Class A Commercial Drivers License)
Current medical certificate (DOT physical)
Clean driving record with no major violations
Minimum 2 years of OTR driving experience (or equivalent)
Experience & Skills:
Proven track record of safe professional driving
Experience with 53-foot trailers or similar equipment
Ability to navigate and communicate effectively
Self-discipline and time management skills
Problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude
Comfortable working independently for extended periods
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate vehicle for 10 hours per day
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
Good physical and mental health to pass DOT medical exam
Valid passport or REAL ID for interstate travel

Location: Nationwide (all 50 states)
Work Type: Full-Time OTR (Over-The-Road)
Schedule: Solo driving 5-6 days per week
Home Time: Weekly or bi-weekly (depending on freight lanes)

Salary: $60000 $85000 Plus annually (based on experience and company)
Additional Pay: Mileage bonuses safety bonuses performance incentives
