COMPENSATION:

$325/hour approximately $561000 annually (based on 12 shifts per month)

Predictable 12-shift monthly schedule

$560K before overtime

Permanent 1099 independent contractor status

SCHEDULE:

12-hour shifts: 7am7pm or 7pm7am

12 shifts per month

Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling (minimum 6 shifts/month)

Full spectrum emergency cases: trauma cardiac stroke respiratory pediatric acute medical

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver high-quality emergency medicine in a regional referral center

Manage diverse patient presentations: trauma cardiac events stroke respiratory emergencies pediatrics acute medical conditions

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care team

Maintain clinical excellence and patient safety standards

Provide continuity of care in a high-acuity setting

REQUIREMENTS:

MD or DO degree

Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) OR recent EM resident

2 years recent emergency medicine experience in hospital setting (or just out of residency)

Alabama Medical License eligibility

ATLS ACLS BLS PALS certifications (all required)
