Pay: $120000.00 - $150000.00 per year

Location: This is an on-site role based in St. Louis MO offering the opportunity to work closely with leadership clients and a strong technical team in a growing office environment.

Note: Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering an active Missouri Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain through reciprocity 10 years of transportation engineering experience and experience with MoDOT and Local Public Agency projects.

Job Description

• Lead transportation engineering projects including highways interchanges intersections and roadway improvements.
• Prepare plans specifications estimates and project documents in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Manage project schedules budgets deliverables and coordination with internal technical teams.
• Work directly with public and private clients throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Support MoDOT Local Public Agency and related transportation infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with engineers surveyors technicians and other disciplines to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Assist with proposals client development and business development efforts.
• Represent the firm through client relationships industry involvement and high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Missouri required or ability to obtain by reciprocity.
• 10 years of transportation engineering or civil transportation project management experience.
• Experience with MoDOT and Local Public Agency projects required.
• Experience with IDOT or tollway projects is a plus.
• Proficiency with MicroStation OpenRoads Designer AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of project documentation roadway design geometric layouts intersection design ADA layouts and applicable design criteria.
• Traffic signal and storm sewer design experience is a plus.
• Strong communication organization budgeting and client-management skills.
