Paint Operations Specialist

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Paint Operations Specialist to join the team based out of Salt Lake City or West Jordan Utah.

Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate Paint Operations Specialist.

We are seeking an experienced aircraft or automotive painter who demonstrates strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have expertise in precision masking and mixing materials as well as proficiency in spray finishing topcoats and primers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares test articles fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests

• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation

• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements

• Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements

• Proficiency in using gravity feed HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray equipment

• Ability to perform equipment cleaning tasks

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 months of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience

• Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing bending kneeling and lifting

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement Standard Work and 5-S tools)

• Experience managing or working with safety quality and manufacturing performance data

Associate (Level B): $54000 - $64000
