Job Description:

If you are a Field Service Technician professional looking for an opportunity togrow Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you!Aligned withour Cudahy WI location you willbe responsible forproviding commissioningtroubleshootingand helping our customers and contractorsmaintainour equipment in the field and through phone addition to the responsibilities below this position requires a highly motivated individual who is driven by process compliance and continuous improvement to effectively serve our customers and equipment.

AS AFIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN YOU WILL:

Carry out commissioning start-up and troubleshootingofVilter industrial refrigeration compressors and natural gas compressors equipmentmainly inthe United States with opportunities to work globally.
Coordinate andassistCopelandsubcontractorswithpreventativemaintenance andwarranty work.
Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution for customers with support from Copeland and Vilter Engineering Parts and Service personnel.
Conduct/participatein technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment
Work with andassistthe Sales and Business Development teams where possible
Participate in joint sales calls with other Copeland team members when needed.
Become a trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries.

REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Certificate of qualification EPA 608 Universal Certification or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experience with Industrial Refrigeration
Minimum 5 years work/field experience
Knowledge/experience with HVACR controls
Microsoft Officeproficiencyasapplicable for preparing service reports scheduling appointments expense reports etc.
Must be able to freely travel between U.S. and Canada
Mustbe able to lift 70 lbs. (31.8 kg)
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering(or closely related discipline) preferred
Working knowledge of industrial compressors for refrigeration and/or gas applications
Working knowledge of Copeland screw and reciprocating technologies is an asset
Working knowledge of NH3 and Natural Gas is an asset
Working knowledge of CO2 systems is an asset
Working knowledge of discrete electronic controllers is an asset
Working knowledge of voltages from 4-20 mA up to 4140 Volt

Remote Work Arrangement:

This role is fully remote. As a remote colleague you maybe requiredto travel to a Copeland site regularly to collaborate with your team or customers as needed. Copeland is committed to fostering a productive and connected culture so you will have the opportunity to work with your team and leader to understand yourteamoperating principles to collaborate effectively. Must be able to travel in the evenings/weekends. A drivers license is mandatory for employment.Travel required 80% of the time.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which weoperate and reward performance during our annual merit review process.In accordance withColorado EPEWA the salary/pay range for this role is $85000-$120000annuallycommensuratewith the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
