KRE Security LLC is seeking reliable consistent and high-caliber Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule long-term placement and year-round earning opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals veterans retired law enforcement or individuals seeking a professional school security environment with steady hours and no overnight shifts.
Position Details
- Starting pay: $23.00 per hour
- MondayFriday schedule
- 8.5-hour daylight shifts
- No overnight shifts
- Position starts in September
- Coverage across three school buildings
- Overtime opportunities available for sports extracurricular activities and school events
- Full-time school-year placement with additional summer and per diem opportunities available when school is out
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure school environment
- Conduct patrols of school property and grounds
- Respond to emergencies and security incidents
- Monitor entrances visitors and access control
- Build positive working relationships with school staff and administration
- Complete reports and required documentation professionally
- Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary

Qualifications
- Act 235 Certification preferred or ability to obtain
- Prior military law enforcement corrections or armed security experience preferred
- Veterans and prior law enforcement strongly encouraged to apply
- Clean criminal background and ability to pass required screenings
