Join our team where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs administering treatments and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
How youll contribute
ALicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)who excels in this role:
- Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
- Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Assists RN with development of plan of care.
- Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
- Monitors documents and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN physician patient and family.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Whatwerelooking for
Applicants should have a current state LPN include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
- PALS certification within 90 days of hire
