Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Attendant to provide in-home care and support to clients in Clawson MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities ensuring their comfort and safety and promoting their independence in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning laundry and organizing living spaces.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their well-being.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to supervisors or family members.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset but NOT required.
- Compassionate patient and reliable with strong communication skills IS A MUST.
- Ability to provide physical assistance to clients as necessary.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a plus.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid is an asset but NOT required.
