Job Overview
A healthcare facility in Wooster Ohio is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience strong diagnostic imaging skills and the ability to work flexible scheduling that includes weekend rotations.
Shift Details
- Combination Schedule:
- 2x12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
- 2x8-hour shifts: 11:30 AM 8:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required:
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- 10-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure image quality and patient safety standards are maintained
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and clinical staff
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- ARRT certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active Ohio Radiology License required or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Strong patient care and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Flexibility with scheduling and weekend coverage
