Job Summary
DSU is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Registrars Office. As a Registration Assistant the successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of the office. Excellent attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Respond to student inquiries regarding registration transfer credits and enrollment status promptly and professionally providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Verify student enrollment status by reviewing and updating student records in the student information system.
- Process student information accurately and efficiently in the student information system including registration course changes withdrawals and other related activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and adhere to all relevant data protection regulations.
- Stay updated on college policies and procedures related to registration enrollment and transfer credits to provide accurate information to students and staff.
- Fulfilling transcript requests and payments.
- Interpreting student intent to ensure service quality and accuracy.
- Generating correspondence to a variety of stakeholders.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with students faculty and staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all aspects of student record management.
- Proficient in web-based technology and Microsoft Office products: Excel Word Outlook etc.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
