We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Parts Counterman Assistant Manager to help lead our growing Parts Department while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Parts Department
  • Support and lead Parts Counter staff to ensure excellent customer service and productivity
  • Manage the parts sales process from start to finish for retail and wholesale customers
  • Work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain inventory levels and source unavailable parts
  • Process and track special order requests accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status availability and delivery timelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with service technicians vendors and customers
  • Ensure department organization cleanliness and compliance with company standards
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and comply with federal state and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous automotive parts experience required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with dealership management systems is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting standing and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
