Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Parts Department
- Support and lead Parts Counter staff to ensure excellent customer service and productivity
- Manage the parts sales process from start to finish for retail and wholesale customers
- Work closely with the Parts Manager to maintain inventory levels and source unavailable parts
- Process and track special order requests accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with customers regarding order status availability and delivery timelines
- Maintain strong relationships with service technicians vendors and customers
- Ensure department organization cleanliness and compliance with company standards
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and comply with federal state and local regulations applicable to the automotive industry
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous automotive parts experience required
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
- Experience with dealership management systems is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting standing and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
