As a Home Health ON CALL Registered Nurse heres a big-picture view of what youll do:

• Provide patient care after-hours as needs arise for our patients
• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and participating
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of a physician LPN CNA HHA social worker and volunteers to carry out the patients plan of care.
• Perform patient assessments check vitals evaluate breathing monitor pain administer prescribed medication and treatments.
• Ensure accessibility of medical equipment prescribed oxygen medication and other supplies
• Educate family on the patients prognosis changes in care plan medication and hospice goals.
• Take a holistic approach to care that engages the patients mind body spirit and family.

A few must-haves for our Home Health ON CALL Registered Nurses:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN License in SC or compact license.
• 2 years experience as a nurse with 1 year of experience in home health preferred.
• Proficient computers skills and workplace software knowledge.
• Work with people function well under stress use clinical judgment be creative and accept challenges.
• Able to effectively deal with multiple changes based on patient needs and scheduling.
• Clinical proficiency in nursing strong communication skills and compassion.
• CPR Certification
• Valid drivers license and proof of insurance
