Under the general supervision of the Director of Wellbeing & Health Equity the Wellbeing Services Administrative Support Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for Wellbeing Services including Health Education Basic Needs & Food Pantry and Safer (gender- and power-based violence prevention and confidential advocacy support). The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring accessible welcoming and efficient services for students. The role requires a high level of initiative adaptability and attention to detail while supporting a wide range of functions including food pantry operations purchasing and financial reconciliation event coordination and front-facing student support. A significant component of this role includes hands-on physical support of food pantry operations such as driving to pick up food and supplies loading and unloading deliveries and stocking and organizing inventory.

Department Summary

The purpose of Campus Health & Wellbeing is to help students achieve and maintain academic success and lifelong health and wellbeing by providing timely and appropriate primary and acute health care disease and injury prevention education professional mental health outreach educational services and campus consultations.

Key Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently under general supervision set and manage own priorities across varied and concurrent assignments and follow through on tasks with accountability for end results in a fast-paced student-centered environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial recordkeeping and purchasing processes including ProCard reconciliation budget tracking and expenditure monitoring with the ability to perform standard business math and maintain accurate records with attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and perform a full range of administrative and operational support tasks including physical responsibilities such as stocking organizing and transporting supplies.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of individuals including students from historically marginalized and underserved populations with a demonstrated commitment to equity inclusion and contributing to a welcoming and trauma-informed service environment.
  • Ability to handle a broad range of interpersonal contacts including interactions involving sensitive topics such as food insecurity sexual violence and student wellbeing with professionalism tact empathy and strict confidentiality.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or its equivalent. Four years of general office support experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience).

Licenses Certificates Credentials:

  • Possession of a valid Drivers License or the ability to obtain by date of hire and the ability to safely operate a university vehicle.
  • Food Safety certification (e.g. ServSafe) or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Salary and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Range:$48564 - $56904 Per Year

Classification Range: $48564-$70752 Per Year

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience skills knowledge abilities education licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position based on internal equity budget and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
