Job Summary

Salary Range: $39.27-$56.65 per hour

SUMMARY

The LA Health Services Leadership Development Program (LDP) plays a key role in achieving the unique mission of LA County Health Services by developing the leadership capabilities of the 2300 managers and supervisors who lead frontline teams providing care and services to our patients every day. LDPs approach is that we drive results and success by valuing and investing in people. Through our innovative leadership and learning programs the LDP advances our mission at LA Health Services by developing and empowering managers to lead their teams to achieve healthcare excellence on behalf of our patients and communities. This comprehensive approach sees learning as continuous and enables us to achieve sustainable results by helping leaders apply and practice new skills on the jobs with their teams. This includes in person workshops that bring together managers from across the organization for learning and skills practice through a variety of instructional design methods as well as providing them follow up resources tools and experiences to support sustainable practice of workshop learnings on the job.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Project management of program activities events and workshops
    1. Work with Directors to determine goals and strategies per project/event and metrics (volume and value) to evaluate measure progress and determine improvement processes
    2. Create project management plans timelines milestones and deadlines; communicate with all team members involved
    3. Lead project/event execution coordinating team member and collaborator activities
    4. Lead and/or support data collection input archive access analysis and reporting;
    5. Lead and/or support creating updating and maintaining administrative platforms and infrastructures (e.g. rosters team VMB website Master Calendars etc)
  2. Facilitate and/or support the facilitation of assigned sessions including participating in pre-event briefing and post-event debriefing
  3. Lead and/or support workshop planning including curriculum development and instructional design workshop evaluation and team preparation
  4. Lead and/or support alumni community relations and engagement efforts including but not limited to marketing activities recruitment developing promotional materials gathering testimonials doing interviews writing articles researching and identifying content distributing marketing through communication channels direct marketing researching etc
  5. Lead and/or support leadership faculty community relations and engagement effort including but not limited to marketing activities recruitment developing promotional materials gathering testimonials doing interviews writing articles researching and identifying content distributing marketing through communication channels direct marketing researching etc
  6. Lead the fundraising/sponsorship campaigns
    1. Work with Directors to develop Sponsorship and Gift Donation Strategy; determine goals operations and metrics (volume and value) to evaluate measure progress and determine improvement processes
    2. Create project management plans timelines milestones and deadlines; communicate with all team members involved
    3. Lead sponsorship campaigns coordinating team members sponsors and administrative activities
    4. Lead data collection input archive access analysis and reporting
    5. Lead and/or support creating updating and maintaining administrative platforms and infrastructures for sponsorship campaigns
    6. Lead sponsorship engagement relations and fulfillment efforts pre- during sponsored events and post- events

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four years of experience within the adult learning and development space with an emphasis on leadership development
  • Four years experience in marketing communications and community outreach
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with data collection analysis and reporting as well as implementation of data insights in action

Education/Experience

  • B.A .degree

Certificates/Licenses/Clearances

  • Live scan and health screening
