Project Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Python Developer to support the design development and maintenance of enterprise-scale backend applications and software solutions. This role requires strong hands-on development expertise in Python AWS cloud technologies and automation-focused engineering within an Agile delivery environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable backend services supporting cloud-based enterprise applications troubleshooting production issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop test debug and maintain new and existing software applications and backend services.
- Lead implementation deployment support and optimization of backend systems in enterprise environments.
- Develop scalable applications and solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering technical design development testing deployment and support.
- Create technical specifications based on business and functional requirements.
- Analyze existing code identify defects troubleshoot issues and implement fixes.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and provide ongoing application/environment support.
- Monitor production and non-production systems to ensure application stability and performance.
- Collaborate with architects platform engineers developers and business stakeholders to design and implement technical solutions.
- Build and maintain coding standards development best practices and automated deployment processes.
- Implement production-ready code and configurations following industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance effort estimation impact analysis and project status updates to management.
- Work directly with end users and business teams to prototype refine test and improve solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of hands-on Python development experience including strong experience with pandas and boto3.
- Strong development experience on the AWS platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Strong proficiency with Git for version control.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps processes and automated deployment workflows.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch Dynatrace or DataDog.
- Strong ability to analyze technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
