We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to support the development of clear comprehensive and professional documentation for complex IT infrastructure and cloud-based projects. This role is responsible for translating technical concepts into accessible content for a wide range of stakeholders and ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Development & Editing
- Collaborate with architects engineers and technical teams to gather and translate complex technical information into clear documentation
- Review edit and proofread project documentation including project plans solicitations architecture designs and security plans
- Ensure all materials meet standards for clarity grammar and compliance with requirements
Content Standardization & Visualization
- Develop organize and standardize diagrams flowcharts and visual aids to improve comprehension and consistency
- Ensure consistency in formatting structure and terminology across all documentation
Document Management & Version Control
- Maintain document versioning and change control processes
- Ensure all deliverables are properly indexed and the latest approved versions are accessible
Knowledge Transfer & Support
- Assist in developing knowledge transfer materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support internal teams with documentation best practices
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in IT technical writing for complex infrastructure or software development projects
- 5 years of experience using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word Visio (or equivalent) and SharePoint (or similar systems)
- Strong experience creating and managing technical diagrams and documentation assets
- Bachelors degree
