Job Summary
Firewall Network Engineer III
Location: Greenwood Village CO (4 days onsite 1 day from Home)
Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire
Interview: Virtual
Note:
- LinkedIn with actual location
- This candidate must have extensive experience with Juniper SRX.
- The manager prefers the candidate to be in Colorado but is open to candidates who will relocate on their own.
Details:
- Juniper SRX Firewall - strong experience here its the core of the job
- Cisco routers/switches
- Basic understanding of Load Balancing (F5)
Intangibles:
- Someone who doesnt want to be told what to do but will take action (self-motivated) and try to fix things first before asking someone for help.
Day to day:
- Implement / Troubleshoot Firewall policies via CLI
- Processing requests/tickets (via Jira). Right now it takes them 20 days to a month to process those and theyd like to get it closer to 10.
