The Position
As a Credit Assessor atTiimely you get to work with the latest in digital application part of an organisationthatsahead of the curve using AI-driven proprietary technology to reimagine how home loans are assessed and approved.
AtTiimely Credit Assessorswork closelywith other members of the Operationsteamincluding Home Loan Specialists Fulfilment & Retention Officers and Process & Policyto deliver an exceptional customer experience andleveragethe growth opportunities that collaboration and building good bonds creates.
Thisisntjust number involved in allfacetsof the operations team from assessing residential mortgage applications andassistingcustomers with product queries through to testing the platform and contributing to policy development as part of a team that is continuously improving.
While the core of the role is making sound credit decisionsin accordance withour policies and guidelines this is done in a whole new way on a fully digital lending platform. With this comes the opportunity to help shape how the operations team functions both today and in the future.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assessing residential mortgage applications and making sound credit decisionsin accordance withTiimelyspolicies guidelines and delegated lending authority.
- Identifying and mitigating policy exceptions and referring to higher delegated lending authority whereappropriate.
- Assistingcustomers with home loan product queries throughout the application and assessment process.
- Collaborating withwider Operations teamto deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
- Contributing to platform testing process improvement and policy development as part of a continuously improving operations team.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all relevant regulatory requirements lending policies and compliance obligations.
- Working within a digital-first environment leveragingTiimelysproprietary technology to streamline assessment workflows.
WhatWereLooking For
Required:
- A Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain one).
- A minimum of3years experience in residential mortgage lending and credit assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to mitigate policy exceptions and refer to higher delegated lending authority.
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and lending compliance obligations.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in credit decisioning.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
Desirable:
- Experience in a multi-lender or platform-as-a-service environment.
- Familiarity with digital lending platforms and automated credit decisioning workflows.
- Experience contributing to process improvement or policy development within a lending operations team.
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to embrace new tools and ways of working.
