Duties & Responsibilities

My client is an Agritech company using modern cloud technology to support critical decisionmaking across the agricultural sector an industry undergoing rapid digital transformation.

They are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the AWS infrastructure that underpins their production platform. This is not a runbook or supportheavy role. Its about designing evolving and scaling cloud systems that directly impact product reliability performance and growth.

Youll work closely with software engineers and data teams to design secure observable and highly available infrastructure. A large part of the role involves improving CI/CD pipelines increasing automation and reducing friction for engineering teams. Your decisions will shape how the platform scales and how quickly new features reach production.

Senior engineers are trusted here. Youll have the space to introduce better tooling challenge existing approaches and own infrastructure decisions endtoend. The work is handson technically deep and closely tied to realworld outcomes ideal for a DevOps engineer who wants ownership over ticket queues.

Skills & Experience:
Strong experience working as a Cloud / DevOps Engineer in a SaaS or productled environment
Solid handson AWS experience across services such as ECS EC2 RDS S3 CloudFront and Lambda
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions Jenkins or similar)
Strong containerisation experience using Docker with exposure to Kubernetes
Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible
Monitoring and alerting experience with tools like Prometheus Grafana or CloudWatch
Good understanding of cloud security best practices and performance optimization
Comfortable working across teams to troubleshoot improve and harden production systems
A strong problemsolving mindset with attention to detail and system reliability

Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or Information Systems (preferred)
Relevant AWS certifications beneficial but not mandatory
