The Opportunity

This is not a typical internship. You will work directly with senior leadership and deal teams to design build and deploy AI solutions that have real immediate impact on the business. From automating time-intensive workflows to surfacing deeper market intelligence you will help shape how IMPROVED operates in the age of AI and leave a lasting mark on the firm.

Our organisation consists of a young and dynamic team of 15-20 FTE partnered with seasoned industry experts with an extensive track record in and outside corporate finance.

For this position we are looking for a Bachelors or Masters student in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Data Science IT or another technical study who is available for a period of three to six months preferably full-time with:

• A strong interest in AI automation and intelligent systems
• Experience with programming (e.g. Python) and affinity with LLMs AI tools or workflow automation
• A structured and analytical mindset with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions
• Affinity with Corporate Finance and/or M&A
• A proactive entrepreneurial and solution-oriented attitude
• English fluency (written and spoken)
• The ability to take ownership and operate in a high-performance environment

Responsibilities

As an Data Science Intern at IMPROVED you will be treated as a full-time member of the team and will have significant responsibility from day one. Your tasks will include:

• Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
• Designing and developing AI agents to support internal administrative and project-related processes
• Building solutions for efficiency gains and unlocking direct value for our clients
• Structuring internal knowledge and building searchable AI-powered knowledge systems
• Analysing and mapping internal workflows (CRM reporting deal execution processes)
• Contributing to responsible AI usage guidelines and quality control frameworks
