ISCs team of Manufacturing Recruiters is partnering with an established and growing manufacturer to identify a Buyer/Purchaser.

The Buyer/Purchaser will manage the end-to-end purchasing process from order receipt to delivery including placing and tracking purchase orders coordinating with suppliers and internal teams and optimizing inventory levels to ensure timely production and delivery.

Buyer/Purchaser Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree preferred
• 2 years of purchasing experience; supervisory experience a plus
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel); tech savvy
• Technically/mathematically inclined
• Positive highly organized detail-oriented multi-tasking self-starter
• Wants to help in other areas and grow with the company

Buyer/Purchaser Responsibilities:

• Manage the full purchasing process from order receipt through delivery including placing POs and tracking orders
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure service support and timely material availability
• Partner with Production and internal teams to align material needs and ensure on-time delivery
• Monitor inventory levels turns and safety stock to optimize supply and minimize excess
