About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Artisan Tradesperson with experience in tiling stone masonry or bricklaying to join our specialist fabrication team in Kidderminster.
This is a unique opportunity to apply traditional trade skills within an industrial engineering environment specialising in the application of wear-resistant solutions to fabricated metal components.
The role offers varied and interesting work combining workshop-based projects with customer site installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Apply wear-resistant materials to fabricated metal products
Install tiles refractory materials stone or similar lining systems with precision
Prepare surfaces and ensure correct bonding and durability standards are achieved
Work from engineering drawings and job specifications
Support fabrication and production teams when required
Carry out on-site installations and repairs at customer locations
Ensure all work meets quality safety and performance standards
Maintain tools equipment and a clean working environment
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in one or more of the following trades:
Tiling
Stone masonry
Bricklaying
High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to adapt traditional trade skills to industrial and fabrication environments
Experience using adhesives mortars or specialist lining products (preferred but not essential)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong practical problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Willingness to travel and work on customer sites when required
Flexible approach to working hours including overtime
Good understanding of health and safety within workshop and site environments
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
