How youll contribute
ARadiology Technologistwho excels in this role:

• Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies select exposure factors and imaging parameters and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots resolves and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results identifies quality issues and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
• Enters transmits and reports scan results accurately.
• Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

What were looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of a Radiologic Technology program. Additional requirements include:

• Minimum: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology. RT(R)
• Current State of Nevada X-ray license.
• BCLS required.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
