As a Basic StructureFinal Assembly Foreman you are responsible for overseeing the final assembly process ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the final assembly team to complete production of high-quality products in a timely manner
- Develop and implement strategies to improve assembly processes and increase efficiency
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are free of defects
- Train and mentor assembly team members to ensure they are following proper procedures and techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure necessary materials are available for production
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all assembly team members
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering and quality control to identify and resolve production issues
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on production progress and performance
- Attend meetings with management to discuss production goals and strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
