General Purpose of the Office Manager position:
Provides assistance to the Executive Director in the ongoing operations of the program by implementation of policies and procedures program handbooks. Provides coordination between Meadows intake inpatient programs Compliance Dept. & Business Office. Assist the Executive Director in deployment of the program.
Primary Responsibilities of the Office Manager Position (include but are not limited to):
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of an operational handbook to include patient orientation to the program.
- Collection and organization of data used in developing performance improvement plans as necessary.
- In conjunction with the Compliance Department oversees the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures that are in compliance with company policy and State and Joint Commission regulations.
- As assigned by Corporate Compliance may function as Safety Officer insuring compliance with all Risk and Safety policies as well as State and Joint Commission regulations.
- Coordinate all Administrative activities including scheduling of all activities and therapies and provides daily supervision to any administrative clerical staff.
- Coordinates on-boarding and off-boarding of new staff as well as personnel file maintenance with Corporate Human Resources.
- Coordinates with the Business Office to ensure prompt and accurate posting of charges and collection of payments due.
Qualifications
Education Skills and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required. Bachelors Degree in healthcare related Field preferred.
- Two years of administrative / clerical support experience required.
- Minimum of two years experience in behavioral health field preferred.
- Prefer experience working with specialty services (Trauma Chemical Dependency Eating Disorders) in a program setting.
- Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to understand and comply with government regulatory and company rules.
- Ability to record report and maintain confidentiality of information and respond to requests for information.
