Shift Details

• Day Shift 5x8 Hour Shifts
• Flexible start time between 7:30 AM 9:00 AM
• 8.5-hour shift including 30-minute lunch break
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility location

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join a clinical healthcare team in Fort Myers Florida. This opportunity is available within acute care hospital and long-term care environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical nutrition experience excellent patient education skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient nutritional needs and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy and dietary counseling across diverse patient populations
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress adjusting nutrition plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and dietary records
• Educate patients and families on nutrition disease management and healthy lifestyle practices
• Ensure compliance with facility policies nutrition standards and regulatory requirements
• Support multiple healthcare campuses as needed to maintain continuity of patient care

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical dietitian experience required
• Active Florida Dietitian License required
• Acute care hospital or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong communication organizational and patient education skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within established healthcare teams
