Field Service Technician

We are looking to add an Field Service Technician/Preventative Maintenanceto our team. Reporting to the Greatario Services Manager this position will work directly with the Foreman to complete inspections as well as conduct on-site preventative maintenance or repair work on existing tanks.

What you can expect:

• Conducting service work
• Completing on-site inspections of tanks
• Utilization of robotic inspection equipment
• Completing required maintenance work to existing tanks

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years construction or preventative maintenance related experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Comfortable working from heights & in situations of confined space.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong technical abilities
• Flexible to travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently while remaining an integral part of the construction management team.
• A demonstrated ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and effectively prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
• Detail oriented effective problem solving with a passion for continuous improvement.

Compensation

• Hourly wage commensurate with experience starting wage is $26.00 an hour

Please note this position travels on a regular basis and will require individuals to be away from home (overnight) for periods of time. Our structures are built across Canada therefore travel to other provinces on occasion may be required.
