- Day Shift: 5x8-hour shifts
- Shift Times: Variable start (06:00 AM or 12:00 PM)
- Total Hours: 40 hours/week

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment in an acute care hospital setting in Santa Rosa California. This role is ideal for a clinically strong pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe accurate and effective medication use while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy safety and appropriateness
- Prepare and dispense medications according to hospital protocols
- Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams on medication management
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations policies and safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and medication records
- Support medication reconciliation and clinical pharmacy services
- Identify and address drug interactions allergies and contraindications
- Manage safe medication storage handling and inventory control
- Utilize Epic or similar EHR systems for documentation and workflow
Required Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacist License (Required)
- Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge of medication therapy management
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
- Pending licenses are not accepted
Certifications & Licensure
- California State Pharmacist License (Active and Required)
