As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Lead in Midland TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting relevant details and communicating with local leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity theft and/or other suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances exits high-traffic areas and restricted spaces verify access when required and report hazards policy violations and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing customer and employee activity assisting with de-escalation during confrontational situations and maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
