Meet the team:

A successfulProgram Director ofTechnical Product Managementwill need to be regarded by their peers and management as a motivating and engaging leader for team members fromengineering and non-engineeringfunctional backgrounds regardless of the reporting relationships be averystrong communicator and have a track record of makingstrategicdecisions andpushing their teams to answertough questionswith and without consensus.

The Program Directorwill need to have proven experience driving programmatic and technicaldata-drivendecisions on complex programs with hardware firmware andsystems integrationelementsand solid domainexpertisethat can be applied directly to or be transferrable to the ContinuousBiosensingMonitoring space.

Additionally an effectiveProgram Directorwillpossessthe acumen needed to exercise good judgement in the best interest of the business and resolve disconnects between competing priorities by balancing multiple stakeholderneeds and desires.

Where you come in:

  • You will leadaCore Team in developing and design transferring amajornewhardwareplatformitsinitialdevelopmentprogramand itsfuture development projectsafter launch.

  • You will lead product development activities that are complex and multi-disciplinary activities involving mechanical engineering electrical engineering electrochemistry sensor development firmware engineering algorithm development and their integration together and with software (mobile application web-based applications cloud data). You and your product development team will delivernext generation biosensing platformsthrough feasibility development integration verification validation commercial readiness andwork with Product Core Teamson ensuringsuccessfulproduct launches.

  • You will define theprogramscope gain cross-functional alignment and lead activities across Commercial OperationsManufacturing SourcingQuality Clinical Regulatory Finance Legal and R&D teams delivering business-critical programs.

  • You willestablishtheprogramvision direction and structure to the cross-functional and cross-disciplinary core teams. This includes controlling scope aligning product roadmaps and driving their cross functional delivery.

  • You will regularly communicate strategy recommendations external platform impacts and program updates to functional and executive leadership driving management decisions when needed.

  • Youare responsible forcreating andmaintaininga culture of accountability and collaboration within your Core Teamsby ensuring mutual accountability removing organizational barriersto successensuringandfacilitatingexcellent communication and resolving conflict promptly.

  • You will develop and mentor core team members and serve as an advisorregardingplanning milestones tasking risk burn-down and conflict resolution. You will aid in evaluating and providing candid feedback directly to these core team members and their managersincluding fortheir mid-year and annual performance reviews.

  • You maymanage one or more technical program managersensuring functional excellencewithin our team.

What makes you successful:

  • Demonstrated successful leadership of complex multi-yearflagshipprograms thatdelivernew technologiesfrom feasibility through development V&V design transfer regulatoryfilingsand product launches with strong technical leadership cross-functional leadership and financial accountability.

  • Technicalexpertiseacross at least one of the following engineering disciplines: mechanical engineering electrical engineering electrochemistry bio-sensing firmware engineering algorithm engineering and/orreliabilityinmedical device product development or adjacent disciplines. Particularly helpful is experience developing and filing medical devices through MDR and 510(K) regulatory submissions.

  • Experience managing stakeholders inclusive of all technical and leadership levels: working effectively to drive critical program decisions and resolve competing stakeholder interests.

  • Experience working in the Medical Device industry as well as knowledge of the industry practices techniques and standards including a proven ability to both understand and work effectively within a Quality System that is compliant with FDA regulations related to Design Control.

  • Experience managing both direct and indirect reports including hiring performance management developing talent and driving cultural change.

Education and Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelorsdegree in a technical discipline anda minimum of 15 years relatedexperience or a Masters degree and10 years equivalent industryexperience or a PhD and 7 years ofexperience.
