Physical Therapist, ADAcute Setting

Burger Rehabilitation Systems Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978.

Due to growth and expanding Home Health needs we seek an exceptional State Board LicensedPhysical Therapistto join our team in Woodland California.

This hybrid position in Woodland offers a flexible part-time role split between the Yolo Adult Day Care Center and Woodland Hospital. The Rehab team is solid and ready to welcome you. The schedule can be 3-4 days per week 4-6 hour days at the Adult Day with a day or two at the hospital to equal 20-30 hours per week which at 30 hours per week would entitle you to a full benefit package. The split ends up at a 70/30 Adult Day/Acute. You will provide therapeutic services for adults at the Adult Day Center to improve their independence working alongside nursing staff activity coordinators and Speech and Occupational the acute hospital setting a dynamic collaborative environment you will focus on early mobilization educating patients post-surgical interventions and providing guidance on safe discharges.

Woodland Home Health/Acute maintains a good strong interdisciplinary team directed by an experienced supportive and approachable Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assessment treatment planning and therapeutic interventions
• Aid and direct patients in active and passive exercises muscle re-education activities of daily living prosthetic training gait and functional training
• Educate patient and family on proper care plans
• Communicate with team members to ensure quality care is being provided

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university or the foreign equivalent
• California State licensed Physical Therapist
