DESCRIPTION:
As an Industrial Design Engineer II you will be engineering products and supporting manufacturing operations with the goal of growing efficiency quality and this role you will work with the business in optimizing current processes and manufacturing operations to improve manufacturability of product for quality ergonomic and efficiency improvements.


Keys to Success:

Education -

Minimum Required Education: Advanced Degree plus 1 year of experience Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience or Associates degree or equivalent plus 4 years of experience. Experience preferred in a life sciences manufacturing environment
Preferred Fields of Study: Industrial Design Industrial Mechanical or similar Engineering discipline

Experience -

Proficiency in CAD software (particularly SolidWorks) and AutoCAD

Strong project management and organizational skills

Experience in designing 3D printed structures

Proven experience in user-centered industrial design concepts
Demonstrate knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles for metal and plastic parts

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Knowledge Skills Abilities -

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish relationships and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements / Work Environment -

Work in a controlled manufacturing environment; required to lift 25lbs repetitively and may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.

Ability to work safely with materials equipment and gowning at various levels

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Power Platform
