Job Summary
Job Description:
This position will manage existing private banking relationships and recruit new high net worth financial relationships for the Bank. This person must have the ability to direct existing clients and prospective clients into bank and non-bank financial (brokerage/investment and fiduciary/trust) services using a needs-based approach.
Qualifications: This person must have a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in banking sales business or management. This person must have strong interpersonal communication and sales skills. Series 7 Series 66 life insurance and variable annuity licenses are recommended. This person must be able to work independently and with various other departments within the Bank. Superior organizational and administrative skills will be .
Principal Responsibilities:
Manage existing Private Banking relationships and generate new relationships through proactive calling efforts. Develop customer base through cross-selling products and servicing existing clients develop new business through interaction with external resources keep informed of changing market conditions.
Provide personal attention to Private Banking relationships by responding to needs that arise in a timely fashion. This may include responding to emails/phone calls outside of normal bank hours and some weekends.
Consult with customers regarding financial needs recommends product/solutions and financial services to meet those needs. Additionally resolve inquiries open and service accounts within authorized limits such as checking savings credit/loan and identify and refer investment opportunities.
Communicate and coordinate with the Head of the Wealth Management Group on the placement of relationships into trust and/or retail brokerage services. Facilitate the referral of Private Bank clients to all other financial services the bank offers.
Continually build a network of internal and external sources and resources to further enhance the customer experience and meet customers needs.
Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
