We have a vacancy for a Software Engineer. This role will be primarily focused on the taking products through the RTCA 178C software development process i.e. planning the establishment of requirements design development verification and validation together with project maintenance and wrap-up. Part of this will be also mitigating the risk on projects that require a similar embedded developer skill set but not to the same rigor (RTCA) as Airborne software.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your Role:

Analyse system level requirements and translate into high-level software requirements
Write test cases to evaluate high-level software requirements
Write/review other traditional V Model (RTCA 178C) documentation
Develop software source code (embedded and application level)
Verification and validation of software functionality
Participate in software integration activities including defect investigation and resolution
Perform technical leadership for a small SCRUM based team

Skills and Experience:

C/C software development
Safety critical software environment
3 years software development
Experience in a military environment (advantageous)

Qualification:

BEng (Electronic or Computer Engineering) or BSc equivalent
