Truefoam is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Shape Mold Operator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our EPS operating line. If youre someone looking for a steady reliable role and have a strong work ethic wed love to hear from you.
What youll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will work alongside our shape molding team operate our EPS molding machines by loading raw materials removing molded parts and performing basic visual inspections. The role is responsible for supporting mold preparation and cleaning keeping the work area organized and following safety procedures.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist with loading pre-expanded EPS beads into hoppers or selecting silos for production.
- Support mold preparation and cleaning before and after cycles.
- Observe machine operation to learn molding cycles and parameters.
- Remove molded parts from machines and move them to drying or inspection areas.
- Perform basic visual checks for obvious defects such as cracks or incomplete fills.
- Keep the work area clean organized and free of obstructions.
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Communicate irregularities or concerns to the senior operators or Lead Operator.
- Participate in on-the-job training to build operational knowledge.

Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset but not required
- Skills: Ability to follow instructions and established procedures attention to detail ability to maintain a clean and safe work area ability to adhere to safety standards basic communication willingness to learn production procedures effective teamwork and communication reliability and punctuality

Position Details
- Full-time permanent position
- 40-hours per week working 8-hour rotating shifts (Days evenings and nights)
- Starting wage: $18.50/hour with room to grow
- Benefits: Health and dental benefits paid time off and access to Truefoams RRSP matching program after 2 years of service.
