Senior Logistics Coordinator

• Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations including planning implementation and monitoring of supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods

• Supplier and Carrier Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. This includes negotiating contracts and rates to optimize costs

• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory

• Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends improve processes and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs

• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies

• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation including shipping records inventory reports and compliance documentation

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor logistics staff providing guidance and support to ensure that team members meet performance goals and adhere to best practices

• Project Implementation: Lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operations

Qualifications :

• Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex logistics operations.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and carriers.

• Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventory.

• Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the supply chain effectively.

• SAP experience is greatly valued

Additional Information :

The expected salary range for this position is $30 per addition INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience location and other factors permitted by law
