Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations including planning implementation and monitoring of supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
Supplier and Carrier Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. This includes negotiating contracts and rates to optimize costs
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory
Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends improve processes and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation including shipping records inventory reports and compliance documentation
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor logistics staff providing guidance and support to ensure that team members meet performance goals and adhere to best practices
Project Implementation: Lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operations
Qualifications :
Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex logistics operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and carriers.
Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the supply chain effectively.
SAP experience is greatly valued
Additional Information :
The expected salary range for this position is $30 per addition INFICON employees are eligible for a profit-sharing bonus with a target of 10%. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience location and other factors permitted by law
