Airgas Specialty Gases is actively seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facility maintenance activities in the Plumsteadville PA area. The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:Facility Repair Maintenance & Upkeep including activities such as:
HVAC filter changes cleanings and belt replacements as needed
Plumbing repair (change toilet seals flappers and minor leaks)
Changing Light bulbs and ballasts
Spot cleanup for weeds and debris in the production yards and surrounding fence line
Snow clearing walkways and entrances
Minor repairs like painting spackling door adjustments or handle replacements etc
Coordinating with contractors for facility repair maintenance and/or improvement (including activities such as):
Snow Plowing
Landscaping
Dead Tree removal
Drainage upkeep
HVAC/Plumbing
Electrician
Monthly Calibrations
Support a Specialty Gas production
Small projects related to facility safety initiatives
Small projects that support production supply chain and flow through plant
Production of dip tubes and/or other asset related equipment where mechanical aptitude is sought
Maintain inventory of critical spares and reorder as necessary.
Support ASG Maintenance team in onsite process maintenance and repair
Assist with equipment rebuilds
Ensure the completion of daily/weekly/monthly PMs
Upload necessary documentation into maintenance management system associated with repair or PMs
Enter any unscheduled maintenance performed by self or needed from ASG maintenance team
Support and champion safety health and environmental programs.
Facilitate monthly/quarterly/annual inspections as to comply with internal HSE policies
Including activities such as: Fire extinguisher inspection walking surfaces housekeeping etc
Are you a MATCH
Experience with pumps instrumentation and controls.
Basic knowledge of chemicals and gases.
Ability to perform multiple tasks and participate in multiple projects.
Experience interacting and leading contractors
Computer literate e-mail google apps navigation of information systems.
Good verbal and communication skills and teamwork/interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with good leadership skills.
Uncompromising commitment to safety.
Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment.
5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Requires walking and standing to a significant degree.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to handle cylinders 150lbs using handtruck.
Must be able to read scales and gauges.
