DescriptionNCSS is seeking compassionate motivated and flexible candidateswho are looking to make a difference in the livesof others by providing support to adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Autism within our right candidates would support individuals with skill building in both community and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating as part of a team with initiating activities to support skill-building based upon a clients Individual Support Agreement (Treatment Plan).
- Providing positive behavioral support and supervision while utilizing sound judgement and calm demeanor.
- Developing positive and therapeutic working relationships.
- Supporting individuals with communication needs.
- Providing necessary personal and/or medical care.
- Documenting progress on Individuals Support Agreement goals.
- Working with a variety of clients.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player exhibit patience and can support individuals calmly and empathetically with daily activities. Reliable transportation is required.
