As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Jacksonville FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine vehicle and foot patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and interact professionally with the public. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities platforms parking areas administrative buildings and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Serve in an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal policies and post orders maintaining professional presence and handling security-related duties with sound judgment and attention to site protocols.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas verify credentials when required and assist with directing the public contractors and employees in accordance with location rules and government-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
